Sylvan Beauty

 There was an annual national meeting of breeder English setters at Woof, and for the first time in my life I saw the real deal, bench setters in all their glory. Beautiful! Mind you, I couldn't help feeling that Claire holds her own, her glossy feathers and downy hair blowing in the forest breeze, and still a suggestion of wild and free peeping out beneath the gentility. 

Claire is the queen of our household, and rightly so...no need for photoshop or plastic surgery, she is a natural beauty that makes waking up every morning to see her a pleasure and deeply spiritual- a reminder to begin the day thanking the Lord for all that is good.
