Shady Pathways

I'm getting up too late to do long early morning walks, and with what little energy I have I drive to Kuraki park around nine a.m. instead. We make sure to weave a path through the woods and deep shade to protect the dogs' paws.
It's only  3500 steps, but it's enough, and I'm still on antibiotics with a restriction on exercise, so it has to do. Plenty of stops for some delicious cool water
Granma's just moved to a different old people's home, so on our way home we dropped by to make sure she's settling in okay. The dogs wait for me at the entrance while I wheel her over, and then she feeds them tidbits and pets them before returning to her floor. Nothing like a bit of animal therapy to get the old people smiling.
