Back to excruciating temperatures today, and air-conditioned rooms. Nothing like a wee splosh in the streams to keep the body heat under control...

 
Yokohama has the parks by the sea shore a half-hour drive away, but in summer we're not allowed on the beach or in the sea with the dogs, even on a leash...it makes more sense to take local walks in the green shade, paddling in ponds and streams, and be home by six or seven before it gets really hot...
